More often set up as a reception / box office / lounge / bar area than a space for performance: Asia has double fire exits and a conventional door directly onto Northwood Street. It also has a floor to ceiling sliding door opening onto the courtyard, more manageable is a conventional size door set into this big door. There is a slope up to Europe and double doors into Africa.

Asia is L shaped. It has a high ceiling with skylights which we have yet to have cause to black out. Rigging lights is difficult from the ceiling, but there are 13amp sockets around and the 3phase supply is close. New Macho have performed here as part of Pilot and Theatre Ark set key scenes of The Crucible here too.
