Bond’s Broken Bowl
July 11th, 2012We are delighted to be hosting Big Brum and their long time collaborator, the highly revered playwright, Edward Bond as they stage The Broken Bowl, a new play for young people aged 9 – 13.
Previous experience with Bond’s bold and rigorous suggests to us that it will be well worth visiting even if you are significantly older than 13 – a rare chance to catch up with one of the more significant figures in our theatre’s history. Performances are on Thursday and Friday at 7:30. Tickets are cheap and can be bought here.
BE Happy
July 7th, 2012On Wednesday BE Festival action moved on site. The evening featured a beautiful polished piece from Belgium’s La Compagnie du Geste qui Sauve, a dynamic witty work in progress from The Plasticine Men, Minako Seki Company & Company Cokaseki performed a loud piece that venue duties prevented me from seeing. The evening wrapped up with the ‘super group’ BE Mix performing around the venue before spilling out onto the street.

Leftfield Productions do the honours this Thursday – Saturday.
